This is nothing like Karaoke back home. You go to this place..and it’s kind of like a hotel where you rent out rooms for just you and your friends (because you know you would rather just serenade your friends instead of complete strangers) and you have your own TV screen and couches with two microphones and you can sing all night long. It was quite a fun night and we are all excited to go back for another time.
We rented out the room for a just a couple of hours and we were scared that we were going to go over our time and they would make us pay since they didn’t speak much English, so we were watching the time. When we went to ask how much time we had left they offered for us to stay all night said we could stay till 7 am haha it was funny – I think they liked us because we were foreigners. We sang a few more songs but then thanked them and left. There are tonnes of different places like this all around here. It is a very popular thing to do!
